Holiday Nights (November 25th-January 1st)
The Edison and Ford Holiday Nights are one of the must-see Christmas traditions in Southwest Florida. Millions of dazzling lights will brighten the homes and gardens in the Winter Estates, bathing the land with an enchanting glow. Visitors of this event will enjoy nightly entertainment, tours, Santa visits, food service, and more!
Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting (December 2)
As one of the first Christmas events of the season, this is a great way to start off the holidays! Downtown Fort Myers will be illuminated with gorgeous lights, and visitors will relish in horse-drawn carriage rides and holiday shopping!
Santa’s Block Party (December 3)
Perfect for families, Santa’s Block Party is a festive celebration that also benefits the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation. Kids can enjoy breakfast with Santa before designing crafts and decorating cookies. While the children are entertained, you can browse the vendor showcase for the perfect holiday gifts.
Fort Myers Christmas Boat Parade (December 3)
The pageant of bright lights is a favorite for Fort Myers locals and one of the most highly anticipated holiday events. Find the perfect spot at one of the Matanzas Harbor restaurants and watch the Fort Myers Christmas Boat Parade make its way through the harbor towards the Siesta Isles. More than 30 boats lit up the night with their creative masterpieces last year, and this year is expected to be bigger than ever!
Candy Cane Cruises (December 17th-December 24th)
The Candy Cane Cruises are perfect for families looking for a jolly yet relaxing activity. Daily cruises with Pure Florida from the Marina at Edison Ford will deliver free candy canes to young passengers. From there, you will set sail through the Gulf and enjoy a leisurely trip that introduces local points of interest from a new vantage point. Sunset cruises are also available and are a guest favorite!
Santa on the Sand at Lovers Key State Park (December 19th)
This fun-filled event is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit while giving back. Santa on the Sand provides guests with a full afternoon of food, games, and meetings with Santa. Guests are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys to the event, which will then be distributed to needy families by the Rotary Club. Each child (8 or younger) who donates a toy will have a special meeting with Santa and receive a small gift. This is also a grand opportunity to explore the beautiful Lovers Key State Park and enjoy the beaches there!
