Fourth of July Events in Fort Myers Beach
Start the celebration at the annual Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July Parade. The route will begin at Bay Oaks Recreation Center at 10:00 a.m. and continue down Estero Boulevard to Times Square. You’ll love the colorful floats and festive participants! The parade will affect traffic around the island. The Matanzas Pass Bridge will close from 9:00 a.m. until noon for the parade.
The celebration finale will be the Fort Myers Beach Fourth of July Fireworks display at Times Square, beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. Don’t forget to bring a beach chair and bug spray! Parking will be available at several locations, including Lynn Hall Park on Old San Carlos Boulevard under the bridge. You can also view the fireworks from one of the Town’s beach access points. Enjoy the show, but be familiar with the Town’s ordinance regarding purchased fireworks.
