Fort Myers Beach Haunted Pub Crawl

Weekly, Tuesday-Saturday 

Fall isn’t complete without a nod to something spooky! Enjoy a historical tour to some of the best watering holes on this historic beach.

Spoiler alert: your tour guides are also magicians, so you’ll experience some magical surprises at each stop. The tour lasts three to four hours and will be fun to experience during your fall getaway. The pub crawl takes place every Tuesday through Saturday. We recommend purchasing your tickets early.

Shucker’s Fun Run

October 14-15, 2022

Join the fun at Shucker’s at the Gulfshore on Friday, October 14th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Participate in the 1/2K Fun Run (free event) or purchase a VIP ticket to pre-game with Dave & Chuck before the race (limited availability).

The starting line will be under the Fort Myers Beach Pier and end at Shucker’s. The Sound Machine will play during the event (5:30-8:00). Smack Daddy will be at The Cottage for the afterparty next door.

Roy Hobbs World Series Annual Baseball Tournament

October 15-November 18, 2022

The official countdown to the 2022 Roy Hobbs World Series has started! Event planners anticipate setting another record for the number of teams participating. We do offer a 5% discount to event guests and participants – just contact us for more information or if booking online, use code RH2022.

2022 Roar Offshore National Championship

October 6-8, 2022

The action starts at 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 6th, at Salty Sam’s, where the dry pits are open to the public. Team registration starts at noon, with the boat parade taking place at 5:45 p.m. Race day action takes place on Oct. 8th, after all pre-race festivities and preparation takes place on the 6th and 7th. Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade

December 3, 2022

Kick-off the season at the 34th annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade

The parade begins at Salty Sam’s Marina and will pass by these restaurants on the back bay: Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, Original Shrimp Dock, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellie’s, Bonita Bill’s, Dixie Fish Co. and Doc Ford’s. 

Other spots to watch the parade are Bayfront Park next to Nervous Nellie’s and at the ends of the first two canals in Siesta Isles (don’t forget a chair!). Enjoy the parade by water on the Salty Sam’s Pirate Cruise, or the Sight Sea-R Cruise. Complete a simple application to register your boat.

Annual Christmas Tree Festival

December 9-10, 2022

The 5th Annual Christmas Tree Festival will be held on December 9th and 10th, 2022 at the historic Woman’s Club Clubhouse at 175 Sterling on Fort Myers Beach. This two-day event is a fundraiser which supports participating nonprofits in the Fort Myers Beach area.

The Festival includes two days of silent bidding on custom Christmas trees and wreaths, donated and decorated by area non-profit organizations and local businesses. Funds raised for each tree will go back to their designated charity.

The Friday night celebration begins with a cocktail event featuring live music, cash bar, and food trucks. A special VIP Preview cocktail party will be available to the first 50 people who purchase a VIP ticket. Auction items will be on display for preview and bidding throughout the evening. On Saturday, festivities begin at 1:00 p.m. and feature a holiday vendor market, bake sale, and Chili Cook-off.

The Festival is open to the public and free of charge.

Edison Festival of Light & Grand Parade

Don’t miss the largest night parade in the Southeast! The Grand Parade is a two-hour extravaganza featuring national participants & local marching bands, floats, local government and law enforcement officials, clowns and more.

The parade brings the entire Southwest Florida community out in celebration of the life and achievements of our local winter resident, Thomas Edison. Spectators come from near and far to enjoy this event and often begin marking their viewing spot weeks in advance! Although the event is free for spectators, there are two ticketing options open to attendees. The first ticketing option is run by local non-profit groups through the Festival to purchase reserved seats (“Street Seats”). and the second option is to purchase VIP tickets online and in the Edison Festival of Light office (which include food and beverages).
