Edison & Ford Winter Estates – Fort Myers

Visitors to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers will enjoy 20 acres of historical buildings, historic gardens, the Edison Botanic Research Lab and the Edison Ford Museum. The newly restored buildings include the Edison Main House, Guest House, and Caretaker’s House and the Ford House. The 1929 historic landscape is throughout the property including the award winning Moonlight Garden. The Edison Ford Museum has hundreds of inventions, artifacts and special exhibits.
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre – Fort Myers
Broadway Palm is now celebrating its 30th Season. The theatre entertains over 170,000 guests annually. The facility includes a 400-seat dinner theatre, a 100-seat “black-box” theatre called the Off Broadway Palm Theatre, a 120 seat dining room called the Royal Palm and a 30-seat space just off the main lobby called, the Sabal Palm. The theatre can be found on Florida’s Gulf Coast between Tampa and Miami.

Naples Zoo – Naples
At the Naples Zoo, you’ll find exotic animals surrounded by the mature trees and exotic plants of a historic tropical garden founded in 1919. As the botanical collection was planted fifty years before the animals were introduced, the exhibits carefully maximize the space around decades old trees. Because of this special need to conserve space, you will be very close to the animals — often just three or four steps away!

Lakes Park – Fort Myers
Lakes Park is a place for all of the southwest Florida community to enjoy. Visitors can relax, exercise and explore. The park boasts several miles of paved and unpaved trails and boardwalks. Water activities include canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Picnicking and bird watching are also popular activities. Visitors can make use of our outdoor fitness stations, splash pad with young children, playgrounds, enjoy our gardens. Enjoy tours throughout the park. Lakes Park hosts many community events such as the Lakes Park Farmers Market, the StoryTime in the Garden, and more. Food service offered at concession facility. Park open seven days a week. Parking fee: $1.00/hour or $5.00 per day.
