Returning for its 8th year, you won’t want to miss this impressive lineup of nationally acclaimed and award-winning singer-songwriters. This 10-day festival takes place in three different areas, starting on Captiva Island and then going to Fort Myers. The festival saves the best for last! It will move to Fort Myers Beach from September 23-25, 2022. The best part? Most shows are free, except for a few ticketed experiences and headliner shows.
Friendly Forest Fall Festival: September 24–25, 2022
Head to the Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium to celebrate all things fall! There are autumn-themed crafts, animal encounters, planetarium shows, photo opportunities, a pumpkin patch, and much more. This is a ticketed event, so purchase yours in advance.
2022 Roar Offshore National Championship: October 6–8, 2022
Attend the National Championship of Offshore Powerboat Racing! The long weekend is filled with fun events. Start your weekend on Thursday, October 6th, by watching the boats arrive. The next day you can browse the Race Village (located at Salty Sam‘s) and watch race boat testing. On Saturday, watch the official racing and attend the closing ceremonies. All the fun begins around 10:30 a.m. that day.
Roy Hobbs World Series Annual Baseball Tournament: October 15–November 18, 2022
Thousands of baseball players and their families head to our area every fall to attend this annual event. Enjoy watching games, camaraderie, and having fun in the sun!
