The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. "Great location, minor hiccups handled well
We had a wonderful 6-night stay at this Fort Myers Beach home! The house was spotless on arrival and felt almost new — not sure if it’s been recently remodeled, but everything had that fresh feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and there were plenty of towels for our whole stay.
The location can’t be beat: beach access was almost directly across from the house, Publix was about a mile away and 7-Eleven was literally around the corner. We barely had to move our car all week — everything was walkable.
We did run into a couple of issues — the AC wasn’t cooling properly and one stove knob needed replacing — but the management company sent a technician out the very next day after we reported it, which we really appreciated.
One tip for future guests: parking around Times Square is pricey (~$20 at private lots), but the city metered spots on the lot under the Matanzas Pass Bridge are just $2/hr"
