"Good house, horrible sleeping conditions - Great house and pool, horrible beds. While the house is great, the beds are the worse I have ever experienced. All guests (there was 8) all complained about how extremely bad the beds were, as well as how rough the sheets were. You would expect with this price point better sleeping amenities."

"The Perfect Vacation Home - Our family of 10 stayed in this beautiful 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom home. There was plenty of room for everyone. We could all gather together or go to our rooms for privacy. The open concept made this home very appealing! The pool was AMAZING! And the house is literally a four minute walk, less then two blocks from the beach which made this the perfect location. The house is on a cul-de-sac so there was no traffic and it was very peaceful. The house is located Mid-Island in a central location to everything the island has to offer, and the beach access led to a very private beach experience. It was never too crowded and it was always clean and beautiful. We had an issue with the WiFi the first couple of days but the owners/managers worked hard to resolve the issue as quick as possible! Their service and communication was excellent. We loved this house and will definitely return in the future!"

"Overall the house was great. Some TLC is needed on the bottom floor as floor tiles are cracked and loose. We did encounter a few issues and almost all were addressed. We had some drain issues and they were addressed the same day. Unfortunately the hot tub didn’t work, really wish this was known before hand as this a reason we rented the property."

"We have always enjoyed this home, and hopefully will continue to do so. Just a few comments--definitely could use new mattresses everywhere. Also, it\'s definitely time for a new oven/stove, as well as sharpened knives. The oven takes forever to properly cook, and the knives are very dull."

Very easy to book, communications with property management were excellent. The house was large enough for 11, and all of us were all able to sit together at the large outdoor dining area! The kids enjoyed playing games and of course the pool! The house suited our needs perfectly. I would not recommend for small children or the elderly due to the open staircases.

"Could not have found a better escape than the Great Escape! Beautiful home with all the amenities & spectacular private enclosed pool, hot tub & wonderful patio area & deck for family gathering, games & just hanging out. Location is also ideal! Quiet cul de sac that is an easy two block walk to beautiful Ft. Myers Beach. The sunsets & dolphins are amazing & everyone is so friendly. What a wonderful family spot. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a fabulous vacation!"

"My family stayed at the Great Escape in Fort Myers Beach and it was wonderful! The house was spotless with all the amenities needed for a wonderful relaxing week at the Beach. We enjoyed the screened in pool and hottub as well as the outdoor couches and huge family dining table. The games and cards provided were used in the evenings after our fun at the beach. There were plenty of bath towels and even beach towels provided to us. We used the wagon and beach chairs provided for our trips to the beach which was a quick easy 5 minute walk. The beach is white sand and not very crowded! The restaurants were close and we used the trolley to travel into Times Square for dinner several nights. My family will definitely be back to the Great Escape!"

"I would highly recommend The Great Escape rental house! The location is perfect. It is located on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood. The house is a short walk to the Fort Myers beach, shops and restaurants. There is even a park close by to play pickle ball. The house has a beautiful screened in heated pool and large hot tub. The back of the house where the pool & hot tub are located is very private. There are no homes behind the house just nice tropical trees and plants. The house was larger than I expected. The bedrooms are very spacious, and the basement even has a separate kitchen. The upstairs kitchen/family room is open concept with high vaulted ceilings. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. It had everything we needed and more. I will definitely be coming back!"

"We have stayed in the ‘Great Escape’ for two consecutive years and it has been truly a great escape! The house is a great getaway for large families or a big group. There are so many amenities that added to the fun and entertainment- amazing private pool, bikes, beach chairs and toys, and a relaxing hot tub. Plus, the beaches are a short walk from the house where you can enjoy the sun and surf during the day and the beautiful Gulf sunsets in the evening.
Inside the house is an open floor concept that allows for easy gathering and hanging out on a multi level patio and screened in deck. Highly recommend this vacation home - you will love it!"

"I mentioned a few things in #4 regarding some things that would make the stay better. The raccoons were the most significant problem and it may be good to speak with the neighbor so he doesn't come by at the beginning of everyone's week to tell them not to be loud as it is a rental property with a large pool. "
