Welcome to Happy Daze, a beautiful three-bedroom two bath home located mid-island of Fort Myers Beach. Inside offers a very comfortable living room perfect to unwind after a full day in the sun, spacious dining room with seating for everyone, and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The primary bedroom offers a king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. One guest bath is just off the living room and a second bath just across from the king master and twin bedroom. Outside the screened pool offers hours of endless entertainment and is complete with plenty of seating options, TV, and fridge. Guests can find an outdoor entertainment area with a giant connect four game, ax throwing game and plenty of board games for the whole family to enjoy! Relax by the firepit and share your vacation memories with family and friends. For added convenience there is a washer, dryer, gas grill, outdoor shower, 6 beach chairs, beach wagon, beach toys and a cooler with ice packs. Make lasting memories at Happy Daze.

Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! "Always a wonderful stay at Happy Daze! We love how well stocked the home is, not just the kitchen but even the pool toys and beach gear. When we visit we have our two girls with us (5 and 4) so there’s already a lot to pack, knowing we don’t have to worry about beach gear or pool toys as much not only saves space in the car but also in our heads! The only comment this year was the mosquito situation was OUT of control. They were everywhere including inside the house and so so so many we were all getting bit multiple times a day. I think it would be good to have a company come and spray for them or to have citronella plug ins or something available to try and combat them. We ended up buying some candles and plug ins but we were leaving the next day so it didn’t help too much. Not a deal breaker by any stretch but just something to maybe consider as it may be a bigger issue for another family. We’re already planning our visit for next summer!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Happy Daze! We were there the last couple weeks. The house had everything we needed. The pool area was a huge hit! We enjoyed walking to the beach (4-5 minute walk). We did the Mound House Museum, the same distance in the other direction. We had many dinners out in the area. Our favorites were Doc Ford’s, The Whale and the Parrot’s Cove. We had beautiful weather every day and if you up for a ride, we drove over the bridge to Sanibel and Captiva island and spent and afternoon on the beach over there. I was 1st time spend time in the area and would go back in a heart beat!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving week getaway—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and memorable family trip. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking.
The outdoor amenities were truly special. The pool, the grill area, the fire setup for roasting marshmallows, and the play space for the kids made our stay even more enjoyable. It gave our family so many moments to relax, laugh, and make memories together.

"Happy Daze IS a happy place! This is our second visit to this home and it's as perfect as it was the first time! We come for an annual girls trip before school starts with a preschooler and a toddler to just enjoy the last fun moments of summer and its a great place for families. the home is laid out nicely and everything is very comfortable with all the amenities you could need. the pool is perfect for little ones with a splash pad area thats great for kids but also for adults to lounge and sunbathe. lots of seating everywhere, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens and very comfy couch. It's less than a block from public entry to a really great and peaceful beach area too. the sand is super white and soft and the water is always clear and calm. again, great for families and little ones to enjoy. the hosts are super responsive, instructions for check in and check out are really clear, just a great great experience. we will always opt to stay at this home, we absolutely love it here!"

"The house was in a perfect location. Walking distance to the beach with two littles in tow. We enjoyed the separate areas for sleeping. The pool was wonderful. This home offered a couple of pack and plays, two wagons, four beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach/pool toys & beach towels. What we wished we knew to bring ~ garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, soap and shampoo, any spices, dishwashing and laundry pods. (Versus buying items we didn’t use much of)
We did bring toys for the girls. And a sheet for the pack and play.
We would stay here again ~ yes!

"Happy Daze was a WONDERFUL place to stay for our girl's trip! My mom, sister, aunt, cousin and nieces had a great time and the home was not only immaculate, but very well appointed and comfortable. We had a 3 year old and 1 year old with us and the pool was PERFECT for them with the sun ledge and benches. All the furniture in the home was well maintained and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more as well, we cooked dinner twice and made breakfast every morning and not once did we say 'man I wish we had this'. The beach entrance was right at the end of the street as well, making going back and forth convenient (which with little ones, was a godsend). We enjoyed all the games and entertainment available as well. Overall, a wonderful stay and we are already checking dates for re-booking next summer."

"We have been visiting FMB for several years now. we chose this house because we like the location on the island. The house is very nice and clean. They do supply the basics for toiletries and kitchen utensils. We fully enjoyed the back patio and the heated pool. Communication was easy and great! We had a flight issue on day of departure and Kathy was very quick to help us out. We would absolutely rent again, and cannot wait to visit next year to see more progress."

"The house was just as described. Close to the beach and the backyard was an oasis. Everything was spotless upon arrival. The area is still recovering from hurricane Ian so there was lots of construction traffic on Estero but our street was peaceful. We rented bicycles to ride down to Times Square area. "Old folks on vacation. - Very nice stay. Could have used few more forks. Refrigerator, although new, froze food in middle and shelves were terrible configuration. Decorating was not cohesive. Just threw stuff on shelves. Open shelves in kitchen could have had middle shelf one peg lower and empty for accessibility. Nightstand in living room was very hard to get around. Should have been with bed. Beds WERE very nice A+. Rusted sectional in pool area shoulder have been removed Before we arrived. Loved fire pit, party lights, very good grill ⭐️."

"Flatware is inadequate for this size house. 7 spoons, 6 forks, 5 salad forks, 8 knives, 4 soup spoons. Pool heater seems to be inadequate, as well. Could use more water glasses. Also metal sectional is rusting apart. Hazard. One person sat on it and the slat broke. Other than these easily fixed things it is a great property. Loved fire pit. Two main beds are comfortable. Appliances are good. Refrigerator does freeze vegetables. Didn’t see any adjustments. Lettuce and tomato were frozen."

"We had a wonderful sister’s vacation at the the Happy Daze property. It had all the amenities we needed for a great vacation. Loved the fact we had access to all the beach and pool gear we needed. Any questions we had for the property manager were answered quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed our time at our pool, it was clean and refreshing! It was great to have such convenient beach access and the city did a great job cleaning up the beach after the hurricane. We also loved the fact that the house was completely remodeled with an updated bathroom and kitchen. The check in and check out process was effortless. We look forward to coming back in future years to see the progress the strong people and businesses in the Fort Meyer’s beach area have made."

The beach is still very devastated, and there are not many indoor options for dining. Would recommend choosing a different location for easy dining/island experiences/amenities. Most places are running as food trucks. There is a lot of garbage/debris around the island. We enjoyed our trip to Lovers Key as it was a state park and well maintained. There was a welcome package with a small dish soap and detergent - other than that, you should get everything. Its just something to keep in mind when shopping. We liked the layout of the house, the from yard, and ofcourse the covered pool area, where we spend a lot of hours.
We have rented a lot oh houses, they have always been equipped with basic stuff like oils, salt/pepper etc, ziplock bags, foil etc. This house was complete empty, there was a welcome package with a small dish soap and detergent - other than that, you should get everything. Its just something to keep in mind when shopping.
Other than that, we really liked the house and would come back."

"Quiet and Relaxing - This home was perfect for our family! Close walk to the beach with a relaxing pool, grill and outdoor fridge. Kitchen was right off the pool area and had everything we needed. Nice convenient front load washer and dryer. Everything was true to the photos provided."

"Has it all! - Great place to stay all around. Great location, 1 block from beach access, away from most of the touristy stuff, more residential. Outside pool area was great. Absolutely no food, salt, pepper, only 2 rolls TP per bath so be prepared. A few tripping hazards in the home, so caution if you have elderly visitors. Would definitely return!"

"Covid Recovery Vacation - This property was neat and tidy but not overly fussy for a family with younger children. The pool and all accoutrements indoors and out were wonderful. The separation of one bedroom/bath from two others with bath, on either side of the house, proved perfect for grandparents who needed a bit more sleep in the AM. It was an easy walk to the beach and to Mound House---a beautiful historic and archaeological property. Note to future travelers--no condiments or extra paper products were provided, so be sure to bring your own. Ditto on dish drying towels. We highly recommend and hope to book again."
