Area Activities:
Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away!

"We loved the Sweet Caroline. It was a perfect location, great proximity to everywhere we needed to go. We walked everywhere. The home was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all we needed to make it our home for the week. The beds were comfortable, and we hope to be back next year. We wouldn’t change a thing and couldn’t ask for nicer accommodations"

"Would highly recommend this location! There were 6 ladies here for a girl's week. Location was clean and extremely well stocked with everything you need. Dishes, pots, pans, pool towels, bath towels - even down to toilet paper! Which may not seem like a lot, but other places we stayed we were required to make a trip to the store almost immediately! So nice to come and not have to rush out for supplies. The house gave the 6 of us plenty of room to spread out. Close to sights and only 3 blocks from the ocean. I would highly recommend this location and would love to go back to this location again."

"Everything about the house was perfect. Nice and clean and fully stocked with everything we needed from the kitchen, to pool toys, to beach supplies. The elevator was very helpful for bringing our luggage up and down rather then having to carry it on the stairs. Was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. And plenty of room for multiple families. We will definitely stay here again."

"Our family of 8 really enjoyed our week at Sweet Carolina! The house had everything we needed to feel at home. The home had an excellent kitchen and lots of nice appliances which was a bonus! We reached out and asked for a box fan, one was dropped off the same day. We really appreciated that!! The walk to the beach, restaurants and to Times Square area was just a short distance which was so convenient. There is lots of new home construction right now, so at times there are construction vehicles and noise from the workers working on the homes that are being built up the street. With the island still being rebuilt from the hurricane this was to be expected pretty much anywhere on Fort Myers Beach. We definitely would stay at Sweet Carolina again!"

"We had an awesome stay at Sweet Carolina. The house was very clean and well laid out. My family was able to spread out and relax, which is exactly what we needed. The home is an easy walk to the beach and Times Square. It was nice to be able to walk to dinner and not have to look for parking. The heating for the spa and the volume for the main TV were confusing, but we eventually figured it out. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The house was everything we needed. It was very, very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything a family needed to prepare their meals. One nice feature was you could walk everywhere. we had a couple of small issues which were addressed very quickly. Depending on the size of the family we would definitely rent this house again. "We were very happy with our stay at Sweet Carolina! The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and diningware. Extra linens for beds or baths would have been nice, but we also are capable of doing laundry so it wasn't a huge deal. Beds were extremely comfortable! The house was very clean and beautiful! Loved the partial water view from the patio to watch boats! There is a slight smell of damp/mildew in the lower living space, but it did not bother the family member who started in the bonus space, which was soo nice to have! We very much enjoyed the pool area, especially the shade on the pool, as if made playing in the pool safer for our toddler! The walk to the beach is quick, only about 5 mins, and easy to navigate. The bonus of some beach gear was also a nice surprise!I appreciated the booster seat and pack n play mattress they had as well! My one concern is that the stairs in the main living area are not well suited for baby gates, and we had to come up with a makeshift way to block our young toddler from getting to the stairs. Perhaps another solution could make it safer for young families in the future! I was also incredibly impressed with the speed and professionalism that SunPalace had when we encountered an issue unrelated to our property but with another SunPalace guest. They handled the situation quickly and we were incredibly thankful. We ended up extending our stay one extra day! We will definitely be looking at SunPalace stays when we visit again."
