Welcome to Big Blue Beach House a beautiful six-bedroom five bath home that sleeps up to 15 guests. A spacious open floor plan on the ground floor makes it easy to spend quality family time together through cooking in the beautiful fully equipped kitchen with two fridges or having family game night in the living room. Sliders go out to the pool where you can soak up the sun and relax while on vacation. A large outdoor table and Weber gas grill are right there for your dining and culinary pleasures. The main level also includes a king bedroom and two bathrooms. Upstairs 5 bedrooms and 3 baths are well laid out with a family room and deck. The primary bedroom features a king bed with an en suite with walk-in shower. This home also includes beach equipment to use beach chairs, cooler, wagon, and towels for added convenience. Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. "Great family memories - The Big Blue House is in pristine shape and staff readily responded with concerns about a leaky air conditioner.
Very roomy , well equipped kitchen, heated pool, close to the beach, beach chairs and a wagon, close to Publix grocery ,lots of parking and a second staircase so the spiral stairs were not an issue with the younger children.
The neighborhood has a long way to go in it's recovery from the hurricane a year and a half ago but the Big Blue House is ready for large groups and the locals were grateful to have us there.

"Great house. We love it!! Just a comment about some missing essentials that would make a big difference.
- dressers in bedrooms (or shelves in some closets)
- a few more dishes would be helpful like bigger bowls and smaller bowls - we bought a cheese grater but the stuff there was great quality!!

"Family beach time - The place was very nice and large enough to accommodate. The A/C systems upstairs stopped operating properly the last night so we had to switch rooms around a bit. All in all was a very nice place and enjoyable stay."

"Nice house, excellent A/C (in each room). Perfect layout. The house needs more garbage cans outside. Also the floor mat at the entrance (left side of the house) dangerous (slippery), specially when it get full of sand. But overall excellent house."

"Great for large families! Toaster and coffee maker were broken - I did call and we received new ones that afternoon - which we appreciated. Location to the beach is great and the pool was functional and fun with the different lights. If you go during busy time - rent bikes and use those for transportation as traffic can be horrible. Thanks!"

"Perfect for multiple families and all ages. This house was wonderful to stay in. We had 15 people ranging from ages 1-64. No problem fitting all of those people in the home. The beach was a one block walk and the street has a crosswalk at that spot. There is also a trolley stop right there. Note that the trolley can be a long wait when they only have 2 trolleys running. The beds were very comfortable (3 kings size, one double i separate room, 2 twins in another room and 3 twins (one bunk) in another. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans blenders, coffee maker etc. There is a large wagon to take what you want to the beach or use for groceries. The pool is a heated salt water pool and was enjoyed immensely by all. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Publix and a few other stores are one half mile away so walkable (or skateboard/bikes) if you are not buying heavy items. If you don't have small children, biking would be an easy way to get around. I cannot say enough great things about this house."

They are subjected to the same traffic problems as everyone else so there is no reliable schedule. We did not have a vehicle so had groceries etc delivered easily. Something to note that was a continued problem for deliveries and taxis. The address is on Palmetto and the house number corresponds to that street. However, the number on the house and the driveway and doors are facing Dakota. Every transport of delivery had a problem finding it. The beds were very comfortable (3 kings size, one double i separate room, 2 twins in another room and 3 twins (one bunk) in another. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans blenders, coffee maker etc. There is a large wagon to take what you want to the beach or use for groceries. "We had a fabulous time! - The house was beautiful and spacious enough for 14 people. The beach access was so close, to get any closer You would have to be on the beach itself! With 2 little ones, it was the perfect spot. Quiet area with a trolly stop at the corner, we were able to go anywhere we wanted.
The heated pool was a perfect addition for breaks from the beach and the evening relaxation.
We will definitely return to the Big Blue Beach House!"

"Great stay close to the beach! - We were a little nervous about this property having no reviews when we booked, but were very happy with our stay.
The location is great with a very short walk to a nice sand beach. The house was well equipped with a large wagon, beach chairs, toys, wheeled cooler, and plenty of beach towels. This made for a very easy walk with everything needed to spend the day at the beach. After the beach we loved coming back to the house and refreshing in the pool which was cool and mostly shaded in the afternoon.
We had two families with four adults and 6 young kids total and the house was perfect. Plenty of room to sleep everyone comfortably in the many bedrooms. The large kitchen and dining room table made it easy to have meals together. We were extremely happy with our stay at the Big Blue Beach House and would recommend to anyone."

"Perfect place to stay - Sun Castle was the perfect place for our family of 14. It was well equipped and very clean. On a quiet street and 5 min. walking to the beach. The downstairs was perfect for the teenagers leaving the upstairs to the adults. We would definitely do this again."

"Sun Palace was amazing, I would definitely stay with them again! We loved the house, everything worked perfectly and there was plenty of space for everyone. Bathrooms and bedrooms are comfortable and well laid out. The heated pool was heaven, some days my kids stayed in all day except to visit the beach. The house was actually perfect for us. The lock code on the front door made checkin and checkout a breeze. The location was absolutely fabulous, away from the crowds, at a beautiful stretch of beach! ...but don't tell anyone! :). It felt like we were staying at our cottage for a week! Thank you for the lovely sunshine and a perfect vacation!!"
