Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse, which is less than 15 miles away!

"Super clean and thoughtfully stocked with basic beach/pool items. Fantastic pool and just a short walk to the beach. The beds are firm but the pillows were soft and good quality."

"Blue Heron was exactly what we hoped it would be for Spring Break! Place was excellent for 4 adults and 3 kids, plenty of space. Plenty of kitchen appliances, utensils, etc.
The pool area was perfect. The kids absolutely loved it. The grill worked great, with plenty of propane available.
Plenty of pool/beach towels available which was unexpected.
The listing doesn’t mention beach stuff being there, but we were pleasantly surprised the outdoor bin had 7-8 chairs, beach toys, and even a cart to walk down to the beach (~5 min walk). Perfect surprise and no need to rent anything!
We’d absolutely stay there again!
Couple of callouts:
1. We had to buy dish soap, there was none there to clean dishes (we left a big bottle under the sink for future guests )
2. Probably need to buy extra paper towels if you stay.
3. It’s about 1.5 miles to Times Square. Rush hour traffic in the afternoon off the island was brutal so if driving down there go early!"
