"Blue Horizon was perfect for our large family beach vacation. The location was ideal, amenities were great for our needs, pool was a hit for the kids, and the balcony was very peaceful with a terrific view. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a bathroom on the lower ground level near the pool….having to go in and up the interior stairs from swimming was a little inconvenient for some of us, but overall was a great experience!"

"This is a perfect property for anyone with a large family! Be prepared to provide all toilet paper, paper towels, dish s - The property was exactly as expected. It was big enough for my whole family and we didn’t feel like we was on top of each other. There was plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella and a buggy to transport the items to the beach. There was even an elevator that we had no idea was there when we booked it, and it came in handy as I did have my handy cap mother with us and it was hard getting her up the stairs until we found the elevator.
I only have a few small complaints, there was no broom to clean up the sand drug in from the beach. And that should be an absolute must at a beach property. There wasn’t many towels or beach towels thankfully I travel with my own. There was no trash bags, dish soap, paper towel or toilet paper provided. I didn’t have a problem providing it however it wld have been nice to know before hand. I paid the pet fee and some landscapers showed up and let themselves in the back yard and left the gate open. I went outside not knowing they was there and the lady hit my dog with a pruning saw because my dog was walking towards her no growling or barking nothing just tail wagging and walking in her direction not running. Honestly I wld have called the property management team but I didn’t want to cause a ruckus for my family on vacation"

"We had an excellent stay with our family! The house is incredibly spacious, very clean, and in a great location. The layout is perfect, with large bedrooms, comfortable social areas, and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and relax.
The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and accessories, and there were more than enough dishes, glasses, and utensils for our group of 15 people.
Everything was very well organized and comfortable. It was the perfect house for a large family gathering, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"House was spectacular. View from the kitchen and living area was amazing. We had 9 guys stay in the house and everyone was more than comfortable. The rooms kept the outside noise to a minimum. House was equipped with all of the essentials; beach supplies, coolers, multiple fridges, surround speakers, and giant grill. ONLY knock was the “hot tub” was not hot tubing - never got resolved but they extended our check out time by 5 hours which we appreciated. Highly recommend for large family’s or a guys trip"

"Great location, perfect number of beds and baths, wonderful to have an outdoor area with a pool. We have already recommended the house to friends and family. The AirBnB response time was slow if we had a concern, like the door lock code was wrong when we arrived, the dishwasher didn’t work, the ice dispenser didn’t work, the dryer barely dried the clothes and we needed a vacuum or broom. Would we stay again… absolutely! The house is in a GREAT location!"

"Summer family vacay - This house was beautiful and huge. Location was across the street from the beach and very close to restaurants and activities. The house was well kept and very clean and the bonus is that dogs are allowed! Our whole family totally enjoyed every minute of our stay.Bath and beach towels are provided at this location along with beach toys and chairs, that’s a huge plus when you don’t have to pack all those things to entertain the kids! We did have to contact Sun Palace Vacation on one very minor issue upon arrival but that was resolved very quickly and the staff was incredibly helpful. We will definitely be recommending this location as a great getaway!"

"Terrific house! Very spacious for our family of 7 adults. We loved the view of the bay from the 3rd floor, the large kitchen with plenty of cookware, the huge flat screen tv and couch in the family room to watch sports, the balconies, the big primary bedroom/bath, the pool & spa (which were nice & warm during a chilly week), the game room & extra space on the ground level. Everything was super clean and in good working order. Sun Palace was easy to work with and very helpful with any questions. We also loved the location- very quick walk to the beach and pier area. There is an elevator but we never used it- preferred the stairs for exercise. We liked this house so much that we have already booked it for another stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blue Horizon! We came into town for a Perfect Game baseball tournament. This location is only 17-20 minutes from ballfields! Coming home to the beach each day was wonderful! The littles enjoyed the pool! The house was a great setup and stocked well! The owner had beach towels, chairs, and beach accessories available! We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well stocked! The second fridge in the lower level was sure handy for beach/pool snacks and grocery overflow with a party of 12! Thanks for a wonderful week!"

"Overall a great stay. Hot tub is not exactly a a HOT tub. That was false advertising on the description of the house. The hot tub was really what got us to book the place over others in the area. We even paid more than a house we really liked that did not have a hot tub.
Also I would book directly with sun palace vacation rentals for this property and you may get a cheaper rate than on air bnb or Vrbo.

"Friends/Couples yearly Vacation to Ft Myers - Property was in the perfect location and the house was perfect for four couples. The view on the deck is very nice. The pool is refreshing after a day at the beach.
The only issue is we weren’t even there 30 minutes and the number called because our music was too loud, this was very disappointing. 2 of the couples were still in the house on packing and the other 2 couples had just gotten out to the pool and had a small JBL speaker playing music on a Saturday evening, 4:30. Just crazy. I read the rules and found out there are no outside speakers allowed."

"BEAUTIFUL HOUSE & VIEW 🙂 This house was so huge, plenty of room for our group of 9, the location is superb to the beach and downtown Ft. Myers beach(WALKING DISTANCE, WHICH WE LOVE ). the house was very clean, the communication was superb and very timely with any questions we had. The back porch was excellent, and the view was amazing, along with the breeze! we definitely plan to return in the future. Plenty of beach chairs and beach/pool toys came with the house as well. All the bedrooms are very spacious. THIS HOUSE HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND MORE!! We had such a wonderful time at your beautiful rental, the staff were so friendly and addressed any questions or concerns in a very timely manner."

"Great vacation at Blue Horizon - This home was perfect for our group. The ground floor has a room that can be partitioned off with two twin beds. The second floor has 2 king rooms with attached bathrooms as well as a queen room with an attached bath. The top floor has a queen room with a full bath across the hall as well as a bunk room and a half bath. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, and it was great. The kitchen is well stocked. We had plenty of room for our group to either hang out together or have their own space. The beach access nearest to the house was a bit crowded on the day we arrived so we drove down to beach access No. 30, and it was very nice with plenty of room. "June 12 to 19 - We had a great time. The house was just like it said. Add an elevator but only one person at a time could be in it, or it would stop working but they came and reset it ASAP. It is 3 levels main level is the top floor. We have plenty of towels and room for food. It was a great place for our family."

"Family reunion time! - This is a beautiful spacious house! The pictures and description of the property do not give it justice. Looks like a typical property management owned property: they did not know what the house had to offer and what needed major attention. Nevertheless, management was wonderful in timely resolution of issues. Thank you! There were so many other little things however, but we wanted to enjoy our vacation and not constantly have to contact management. Surely, they will address them on their own time, and future renters will have no issues on their long awaited and well-deserved vacations.
The biggest bummer and shock was the pool condition upon our arrival. It was a green swamp! Management was informed, and we were finally able to use it by the end of our 2nd day there. We do hope to get some compensation. Looks like the place was vacant for some time, drove by earlier, but early check-in request was denied "guests checking out."
This property has an elevator! Main reason for our booking: we have a wheelchair-bound teen. Important for senior citizens too as the house has 3 story worth of stairs.
Planning info:
Lower level: 2 twin beds, a partition, and a sofa bed. No bathroom on lower level. This floor has access to garage, pool, and extra full fridge. Garage had a car seat, beach chairs, and beach and pool toys galore! And, had a caddy to haul stuff to the beach! Yay!
Second floor: 3 bedrooms and laundry: huge master (playpen in closet), and 2 guest rooms, all rooms had their own bathrooms. No twin beds on this floor. Now has a new washing machine because the old one was not working properly.
Third floor (Very top): family room, kitchen and 2 more bedrooms: a bunk bed on this floor, and a playpen. The kitchen is fully stocked but needs a grater and/or garlic press. There is no garbage disposal. Beautiful relaxing views off the patio.
There are no screens on the windows and doors. AC worked wonderfully.
Sound system is very iffy, not all speakers work and not all areas. In the family room the TV can shut off on its own & audio can either disappear or throw a deafening clap. Be careful. Needs attention per techy guy in our group.
You only get small soap for toiletries, so make sure to pack/buy shampoo & conditioner etc. Walmart and Publix were a short 10 min drive.
Overall, a beautiful house with great potential for amazing family time! Note, beach access upon crossing the road is a bar scene, walk a little further for quieter beach if desired."

"All I can say is WOW, WHAT A VIEW! We enjoyed spending time on the third floor taking in the beautiful bay views during breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also found ourselves sitting on the third floor lanai enjoying family time together in the evening. The home is a five minute walk to the beach or times square. We had younger children with and were able to walk back to the house multiple times a day. A cart, coolers and plenty of backpack chairs are provided for lounging at the beach. The home itself had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. Everyone had a great time, and did i mention the third floor view!"

"Was a good layout for the 14 of us. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. However, as the main person renting the property i was disappointed in the few maintenance issues that weren’t resolved while we were there. After taxes and fees the house was costing us over $1000 a day. Was hoping we would get better response times. "

"Overall A Good Option For Your Stay - House overall works well if you have a lot of people. Close to beach, downtown so easy to walk to which is nice. Kitchen is fairly well stocked, 2nd fridge on the lower level is a bonus as is the one on the upper patio. On the downside, the main one had what looked like to be black mold in the ice/water dispenser. The pool/spa heater turned itself off every 3 hours and when I called the designated maintenance company their response was "yeah, it shouldn't be doing that" but no one came to fix it so had to manually reset it multiple times every day to keep the temps up. But pool water was clean and it's a nice spot out of the wind to enjoy. Beach toys, chairs, umbrellas are subpar and should be replaced as well as the beach cart that had a broken front wheel. Beds were okay, bathrooms very nice and the house was clean when we arrived. Our flights got canceled and so we asked to extend our stay and the staff was very nice and it worked out which was very appreciated. Is the house perfect?? No, but it's above average and if you can overlook a few things it would be a good choice again if you have 10-14 people as we did. I almost gave it a 4-star review but felt like it was lacking a few things and has some minor flaws. Overall we had a good experience and I gave it a very solid 3. If a few things are addressed for future renters I would say it should be a 4-star for your stay."

"Perfect size for our family vacation. - The size, bedroom and bathroom count, and proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops were perfect for our family. The extra beds, game tables and refrigerator downstairs were a pleasant surprise. This would have been nice to know prior to our arrival. It took a few days to figure out the pool and hot tub settings to get the water temperature to our liking. A nice addition would be more larger sized pots and pans (cooking a thanksgiving dinner for 14 was a little challenging). Newer beach towels would be appreciated as well. Plenty of bath towels was nice. We really enjoyed the sliding doors that provided a fresh, open air living/dining room. We’ll definitely consider this house for our trip next year!"

"Beautiful property for a large group! - We had a group of 14, and this property was perfect! Room for everyone and also room to get away from everyone! The kids enjoyed the pool and sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and watching the boats. I loved having the elevator as the kitchen was on the 3rd floor! The bedrooms were comfy and nice size. Would definitely recommend!"

"Left feedback at property - no iron, doors squeak in queen on 2nd floor, in/out access with all stairs a pain, elevator slow and unreliable, Chair/rocker broke on Veranda/upper, cabinet on upper veranda broken, clock in kitchen not working. Amenities very nice. Hair dryers appreciated. Decor nicely done and appreciated the beach chairs and coolers. Overall, well done!"
