"We had a lovely stay and the house was in a great location. It would have been helpful to have information about how to operate the pool settings."

"The home was very nice and beds comfortable. Outdoor space was outstanding. Spool was a large jacuzzi we enjoyed thoroughly. Kitchen was well appointed and appliance and grill worked well. We were disappointed and felt vulnerable due to a lack of security. The reason we felt vulnerable is the front door keypad does not function consistently forcing us to leave a sliding door unlocked when we went out. The host sent two very courteous staff to assess and correct the issue. The keypad continued to be unreliable, even when trying to follow the directions given to us...jiggle the handle up after entering the six digit code. However, the keypad and the installation are both defective. Leaving us with a known problem, a defective access point to the main entry, and suggesting we just leave a door unlocked when we go out, falls far below expectations for security and for a definitive solution, and for consideration of guest's safety. The neighborhood is very quiet and the beach is a few minute walk down Clearview one block, down Albatross two blocks, across Estero, and down an access pathway to the left of the Resort. Beach was outstanding!!! Host supplied two very low chairs, not suitable for seniors, nice beach towels, and no umbrella as advertised. We brought out own umbrella and beach cabana. Worked out great. We enjoyed the Fort Myers Beach area and the many great restaurants like Nervous Nellie's, Doc Ford, and the Southern Oyster Brewery. All great food, drink, ambiance, and views!!! Also, went South to Lover's Key Beach which was astoundingly beautiful, as well as Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs. All beaches were not crowded and it wasn't hard to find an area all to ourselves. There's a Publix on Estero just North of the property. We had a great barbecue at 10 Clearview one night. The driveway is partially covered close to the house. A small sedan was easily, fully covered. There is no garage. There is a ladder on the dock in back if you wish to launch your kayaks. We saw an abundant amount of Sheepshead under the dock. Also, Manatees were directly behind this property every day. We were a party of four and the three bedrooms accommodated us very comfortably. "

"This is a cul de sac home on an canal with Gulf of America access.
The home was comfortable for four people and could easily accommodate six. The back yard seating areas are both enclosed screened lanai and open deck/boat dock.
Walk to the beach was about four city blocks with access via a pathway next to the beach resort. I was also able to drop my family off at the resort with the chairs and our beach supplies, go back and park, then walk over. However, there are world class beaches both to the north and south, especially Lovers Key State Park Beach and Barefoot Beach where we played and swam all day long.
Publix is right down Estero, very short drive and there are a number of great restaurants both to the North in Fort Myers Beach and to the south, like Flippers.
Unfortunately, reliable access to the residence fell far below expectations. I notified the Sun Palace, two courteous staff members could not replace and/or fix the keypad, and we were left with leaving a slid"

"The outdoor living space of this home was amazing!!! We spent so many hours sitting outside enjoying the view. It was our favorite part of the home.The distance to the beach was great and an easy walk. The spool was so cute and a great way to cool off. "This was a lovely property and we had an enjoyable stay. We would definitely consider staying here again. The close proximity to my parent's home was very convenient. The only items of note: 1) It wasn't immediately obvious how to lock the front door at night. Instructions would be helpful. 2) We couldn't get the grill to work. We could smell the gas but the igniter knob didn't start anything. 3) The dryer wouldn't work at first and then we noticed there was damage to the inside of the door which prevented the dryer from starting. We managed to get it working but I'd suggest repairing the dryer door as there are several areas of broken plastic. 4) It wasn't immediately obvious how to raise the lanai screen but we eventually found the remote in a drawer. Instructions would be helpful. 5) The pool guy noted that the pool was leaking. We noticed it had lost almost 4" of water by the end of the week. 6) When we arrived the fountain in front was empty but the pump was running. We filled the fountain with water to keep the pump from burning out."
