Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for, check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse, which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. "The apartment was clean and comfortable, The only thing I regret is not having a view from the balcony, it faces the parking lot. It was well equipped, with everything you need to enjoy the beach (chairs, umbrella, floaties, beach towels), and to prepare family meals (good quality cookware and tableware). The AC equipment is not enough for the area of the appartment or is very old and lacks efficiency. Minor fixing required: bed head board is loose and balcony vertical shade has 2 leaves that fall down every time you open and close it, also needs some provision to hang wet beach towels and swim ware on a daily base. The apartment is promoted for 4 people because of a sofa bed but whoever sleeps there will have direct sun light very early. For 2 people is perfect with a wonderful bed mattress, good quality linens and towels, big closets and storage space, even a small working space for a laptop. Instructions on arrival need improvement, it said the wifi password is the number of parking space but parking spaces are not numbered. Luckily communication by text with office is fast and efficient. The best thing about the apartment is location on a beautiful and tranquil beach. We really had a good stay."
