Area Activities:
Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. "Love this place! I may be a bit biased as my Dad used to live here. He is no longer with us and I wanted my Granddaughter to have the chance to make some happy memories here as well. It felt like a part of my Dad was there with us. So many beautiful renovations were done since the hurricane….it looks brand new! The management Co was so kind and helpful. If you want to vacation at Ft Myers Beach I would definitely recommend this place. A beautiful home with a pool on the Water across the street from the beach. What more could you ask for. I hope I get the chance to stay there again!

"Flight of the albatross is a beautiful home that has obviously been recently remodeled. The finishes are top notch. The home was spotlessly clean as has every home we have ever rented from sun palace. I don’t know who does their cleaning but they are excellent. It would really elevate this home to a five star had the owner included beach gear. This is the first home we have ever rented that did not come with at least chairs and a cart. We did purchase and leave behind one chair but just a consideration if you are flying in. The neighborhood is really quiet. It’s a short walk to the beach and close to Santino plaza and the trolley stop. Overall a very nice home. "

"Highly recommend staying at the Albatross home. Very nice accommodations. The place is a new build or newly remodeled and was very clean. We used both the pool area and beach to relax. The large beach is a short walk away and you can rent a cabana and 2 chairs for $30 a day or simply bring your own. The public’s grocery store and CVS are close by which is convenient. There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils if needed along with a nice grill. You will have to bring or purchase garbage bags, toilet paper and paper toweling as the house does not provide if you are staying a week or more. Overall a great property. Can’t go wrong."

"The house is like new and very clean. Well located on a canal and relatively short walk to the beach. We had a great time in the back yard area. Very spacious inside. The property managers were very nice to talk to and very responsive. This area was hit hard by hurricane Ian and there is still alot of construction but there are plenty of places open for food and entertainment. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!"

"Fantastic location in Fort Myers Beach—conveniently close to both Naples and Fort Myers. The kids loved the pool, and we appreciated the short drive to Publix and the wide range of nearby activities. The beach was just a 5-minute walk from the house, making it super accessible. We had a minor issue with the AC, but the owners quickly addressed it and had it fixed the same night. Their responsiveness was impressive!"
