Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. "Location was perfect. Easy access to beach and local parks along with a trip to Sanibel. My favorite local beach was Lovers Key State Park. It was a short was to the beach from our rental and it also was a comfortable and beautiful beach. The home was very comfortable and clean. Checked every box we wanted for the week. Pool, hot tub, outside bathroom and shower. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Loved that we could cook a meal and hang out around the kitchen island!"

It’s within walking distance of the beach, and we loved watching the manatees in the canal right behind the house! Everything was well-equipped, and the hosts were always responsive. "We love the place and its beautiful location. However, the corporate handling made it feel a bit cold. After booking, we had to sign a contract, and during our stay, a fire test disrupted the outdoor sound system, which we couldn’t use until the following evening. Additionally, we had to communicate outside of the Airbnb platform to resolve the pool’s water conditions or any other questions, along with no response through the messaging system, which added to the impersonal feel. Despite these issues, I would still highly recommend the stay."

"Gus’s Getaway was amazing. The home was beautiful and so very clean. Everything from appliances to accessories felt brand new. The landscape and atmosphere of the patios and pool area were wry manicured and just beautiful. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 yet we were all able to be together and eat and relax together in a safe home and yard/neighborhood.Having the dock in view of the pool and sitting area was wonderful for us parents while the kids were able to enjoy themselves while we relaxed also. The home is pet friendly; however, we do not have pets and do have allergies so we are always nervous about how a place will smell or if allergic reactions will come up from pet hair but there is no worry here. One would never know if a pet has ever been inside this home as it was so very clean. This is a spot that you can walk to the beach for a few hours or in the evening for sunsets as we did. This spot and home/is just perfect and we will absolutely be asking to come back to Gus’s Getaway."

"We could not have asked for a better house than Gus's Getaway! This home was the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. The home itself was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The outside was even better. The pool and hot tub were gorgeous, clean and relaxing. We loved having the outdoor bar setup and outdoor bathroom. It was also amazing that the pool was covered so we didn't get eaten alive by bugs. This home made our vacation perfect and we really didn't need to go anywhere to have a good time because this home had everything we needed. The beach was a 4 min walk away (and this beach had the BEST sunsets). We highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Fort Myers."
