"This was our 2nd time staying at the Lone Palm Retreat and we would gladly come back for round 3! Everything you could possibly need for a long or short term stay is readily available and the rental office is easily accessible by text or phone if you have any questions or problems. The home is clean, comfortable, and well laid out for a family or friends. It's location on the beach is the real ace though! Just a short walk through the white sand and you're there! The views from the deck are amazing whether it's morning or night. If you enjoy the quieter end of Fort Myers Beach, this location is especially perfect. Can't wait to return!"

"We were looking for a place to relax and get away from the crowd but still have quick access and this one was perfectly located! We walked right to the beach with no issues at all quick and easy! The sunsets and shelling were incredible! Very spacious home with everything we needed and a Publix for quick shopping minutes away! Highly recommended and will come back and stay again!
Also, there is some construction going on a few doors down but it didn’t bother us considering the fact they are rebuilding! We highly respected that! We totally support that and encourage everyone else to do the same!
When maintenance needed to come into the property in the parking area we were notified well in advance and found that to be highly respectful and appreciated!"

"This home is amazing! Great beachy feel and you CAN NOT beat the view. The beach itself was never busy and there were SO many shells to find! The location is perfect. Close to the main areas but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. There is a publix very close for quick grocery runs. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was a girls trip and we all talked about coming back and staying here!!"

The only thing that was missing from the listing was that this was an upper and lower rental property and this was the lower lever. The views were amazing, the beach was long and full of shells. "Location is the best! The location is what drove my 5 star rating. We enjoyed our stay.
The construction in the area was expected but it is non-stop loud from 7am till sundown. Nail guns, saws, large vehicles backing up, etc. were being used on homes on all 3 sides of this unit. Because of past storm damage we expected construction noise but sleeping in past 7am is not an option at this time.
The unit could use an upgrade in kitchen pots, pans, storage containers, utensils. Some mugs had chips but were still in the cupboards. Two knife blocks but not a single sharp knife. Could use a better supplied kitchen."

"You do not get the entire house even though that’s how it’s advertised. You get the downstairs unit. Building going on and you hear very loud music and hammer guns pounding. Loved the elevator due to raising the house.
The view of the wide beach is breathtaking. Location is great.
Accommodations are very good. However many things were not in working order. After a call made, we were given a house call and the agent was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay."

"We had a great week at the Lone Palm Retreat! The location cannot be beat if you're looking for a quiet section of the beach right out in front of your house. The views in the morning and evening from the deck and even from inside the home were breath-taking. Although I agree that some of the appliances in the home are definitely due for an update, everything you could possibly need to prepare meals was available during our stay. We had one incident where our key code wasn't unlocking the entry door but a quick phone call to the Sun Palace Vacations office during non-business hours was promptly answered and the issue was resolved within minutes! We miss it already and definitely look forward to returning again!"

"This is exactly what our family was looking for in our vacation. We could sense this was a home that was "lived in and loved" by the family that owns it. Our almost 2 year old daughter couldn't get enough of the new place to explore, watching the sunsets from the porch, and enjoying the privacy of the beach area we had access to from this house. The pictures of the view dont do it justice on how special Lone Palm home truly is. We will be coming back.

"The location was fantastic, very private and perfect for families with kids. When we arrived, I was initially a bit disappointed to discover a second rental space upstairs, I must have missed that upon booking but fortunately, it remained unoccupied throughout our stay. The views were stunning, and the convenience of being within walking distance of a grocery store and restaurants was a major plus. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Hoping to return soon!"

"The location is without doubt breathtaking. The beach and the ocean right in front of the front porch was just amazing and we were in awe every time we looked out of the window. The house itself is great and we were not bothered at all that it is a two units house.
The interior was somewhat dated (the dishwasher, stove..) and could use some updates, but all in all we felt very comfortable and had everything available that we needed.
We were wondering about how to use the elevator, but unfortunately never got a response from the rental agency. All together communication from the rental agency could have been better, since we also tried calling after our stay in regards to an item that we possibly left behind and no one ever picked up the phone or answered my email."

"Piece of Paradise - We thouroughly enjoyed our week at the beautiful Lone Palm Retreat. This home has breathtaking views of the incredible white sands beaches and ocean. Nice sized patio along with a seperate screened in porch were we enjoyed breakfast and mimosas over looking the beach.
Large master bedroom with a huge walk in closet and nice bathroom.
The two guest bedrooms have two twins that can be converted to queens upon request. Has a jack n jill bathroom.
This beach home has two levels that are rented. We stayed on the first level and had plenty of room. The upper level is rented seperately.
There are beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards downstairs for your enjoyment on the beach. A downstairs shower makes it easy to wash the sand off before heading upstairs.
We enjoyed the location for its privacy and seclusion. Just a short ride into the town square. Publix grocery store is only 5 minutes away.
We most defiantly will stay in this beautiful beach house again on our next trip to paradise."

"Die Lage ist sehr schön, ruhig und direkt am Meer. Haus selber war auch gut.
Check-in hatte leider nicht gut funktioniert, da ich meine E-Mail Adresse nicht angegeben habe im Chat selber, jedoch lauft das Airbnb über mein E-Mail Adresse und einen Nachrichten Chat gibt es ja auch.
Zum glück war die obere Wohnung bewohnt, wo jemand uns helfen konnte.
Geschirrspültaps hatte es nur zwei und Waschmittel nichts vorhanden, jedoch wurde am Abreisetag verlangt, dass wir die Spülmaschine mit dem gebrauchten Geschirr und die Waschmaschine mit den Strandtücher einschalten müssen.
Alles in allem war es eine schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft."

"Beautiful Location in a Rebuilding Area - This property did well through Ian, and it is beautiful. You have an open view to the pristine beach which was very quiet. The house was spotless with plenty of towels and kitchen necessities. Beds were comfortable and the area was very peaceful. Just note the area is rebuilding, so you will still see lots of Ian remnants. It does not stop this house from being an oasis."

"Lone Palm was perfect for our spring break bunch. We loved LOVED the location on the beach, the sun in evening sunsets were perfect--screen porch made the evenings wonderful!! Everything clean, and a place that definitely has been loved by a family. We had 7 of us (5 High School Seniors--boys) and the bathroom setup worked great-with the twin beds in the two bedrooms, and one boy on the pull out couch it was great---Husband and I had our own "side"--it is a clever layout for sure. Love having a washer and dryer, as well as an uncomplicated, efficient kitchen. We ordered a large order of groceries from WalMart the evening that we arrived to be delivered, and it was simple to set ourselves and our VERY BIG EATERS up! You can see that this someone loves this place, and cared about the details of fixing up after the hurrricane IAN. If we ever needed to have a place with that many beds again, we would be very comfortable and happy to rent this place again. Management company easy to work with-they allowed us (for a small fee---that was expected) to extend our stay a few hours in order to not have to sit at the airport in Punta Gorda for an extra 4 hours---Easy peasey. If you are looking for a LOVELY place to bring your family---come here. It did not seem to be in the "party zone"---and we liked that.
