Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for, check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse, which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area has been rebuilt since Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to improve, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. "We had a wonderful weekend at Mod Cottage! The house is new and clean, but still comfortable. The location is great for beach-goers and pool sitters. It is very close to the beach, and is walkable to other amenities. The area (as of April 2026) is still in recovery and rebuilding from hurricane Ian, so there is still a lot of construction both on the street, as well as on the main strips for bars/restaurants/shops. Sun Palace was very responsive and helped with our arranagements like a late check-out."

"We had a great multifamily stay here, very close to the beach and easy to get to nearby restaurants. We had some concerns about the AC on the main floor when we first got there but the host was very responsive and helped us figure it out. The beach nearby is beautiful and the shelling we did at Sanibel Island was incredible - highly recommend!"

We had rather view that there were broken beach chairs so I reached out and the beach chairs were replaced along with beach towels for us, also very prompt service for a broken coffee pot that was in the kitchen within an hour we had a new one would highly recommend."

This place was everything we hoped for and more! The home was spotless, beautifully furnished, and just a short walk — about 400 feet — from the ocean. We loved being able to walk to the beach to enjoy the soft white sand and in the evening stroll down for the sunset and in between whenever we wanted!! The pool was absolutely amazing — clean, private, and perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was so relaxing. The location couldn’t have been better — peaceful, yet close to great restaurants and shops. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in easy. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!

"We loved the Mod Cottage! The bedroom setup with private bathrooms was just what we needed for our large group. We often gathered outside by the pool and it worked out great. Also love the parking room with having a few local family visitors. The beach chairs came in handy too! With being regulars to FMB we all agreed that we would certainly look into staying again. Such a beautiful home!"
