Area Activities: Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. As local restaurants continue to reopen, you'll have lots of opportunities for entertainment and dining experiences. We're excited to welcome you back.

"Marvelous place, felt right at home, very spacious and bright equipped with everything you need. Beach in a few minutes walking distance. Great to sit on the porch and see the pelicans fishing, even saw a manatee. Would definitely go there again."

"Great location for our family. We were able to explore the area, and had easy access to the beach. We saw dolphins in the canal behind the house. We also purchased a fishing license, and were able to fish right off the dock in back. Cozy spot, with everything we needed. "

"Great Location, Fun Family Trip - This property was only a few minutes walk from the beach. We were able to do other activities during the morning, and could always easily make it to the beach for a few hours in the afternoon. We got to see dolphins in the canal behind the house, which was really fun. We also bought a fishing license, and were able to catch some fish right off the dock at the house. Easy drive to other fun activities in the area. The house was cozy, and had everything we needed. "

"This house is right on the canal. Only a eight minute walk to the beach. The house is clean and bright. It had everything I needed for a two month stay. The area is still recovering from hurricane Ian a few years ago, but there are some nice restaurants at the north end of the island and of course on the mainland. There is a Publix grocery store a mile and a half away and a Cvs a mile away. The area is quiet and safe. I was able to kayak out into the bay and watch the ospreys fish."

"We loved our stay at The Big Blue. Very clean, loved the beach accessories & the home was beautifully decorated with lots of open space to entertain. Lots of fun activities to do at Times Square & great restaurants. The beach was so close & we enjoyed the back porch in the evenings overlooking the canal. Gorgeous sunsets every night Host was friendly & would definitely recommend The Big Blue!!"

"We had a great time staying at The Big Blue in FMB! The location of the house was great - the neighborhood was quiet, the canal was beautiful, and the beach was a short walk across the street (Flamingo access.) We frequently took our bikes downtown, which was about 4 miles each way. The hosts, Sun Palace, were extremely responsive. The house looked just like the photos, and some of the recent updates were nice. The bathroom/shower were amazing, and there were plenty of towels! The beds were comfortable. We did find the kitchen to be a bit under-stocked and the appliances a bit old for the amount of cooking we wanted to do, and we did not love is the giant mirror in the hallway (it scared us when checking in at night, and it took us all week to get used to it.) All in all, these are minor complaints and we had an excellent vacation - we would definitely stay here again!"
