Nestled amidst tropical palms on a serene mid-island street, The Lazy Place is a charming 3 bed, 3 bath home that comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. Step inside through the sunlit porch to discover a spacious living area adorned with ample cozy seating. The sleek, beautifully renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ceramic tile backsplash, quartz countertops with a breakfast bar, and a separate dining area. The master bedroom, adorned with a plush king bed, offers an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom also provides a king bed with a nearby guest bath equipped with a tub/shower combo. Each bedroom comes complete with its own television for your entertainment needs. Downstairs features a private room with a daybed and guest bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside, indulge in the private pool or rinse off sandy feet in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Next to the pool is a covered lanai with a TV, which is perfect for afternoons to relax in the shade while kids play in the pool. The Lazy Place creates an idyllic backdrop for crafting cherished vacation memories, promising an unforgettable stay you'll be reluctant to end.

Area Activities: Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. "The house was super clean and the management very responsive. The location was great too! Only a few streets to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and had everything we needed. Only note: The third bedroom is next to the pool and needs to be accessed by a separate door. We were not aware of that as we thought it was fully attached to the house. It was also quite humid."

"The property is situated in close proximity to the beach, which we thoroughly appreciated. The residence is cozy and aesthetically pleasing. We enjoyed the serene atmosphere. However, the floors were dirty, but housekeeping was notified promptly. The electricity went out in both bathrooms, but it was quickly, resolved. There was dog boop on the driveway and the swimming pool stop running. Despite of these issues we made the best of the situation and enjoyed our stayed."

"The state was great. I only have two complaints about the property. One of them was the air conditioner. It didn’t draw below 72° making it a little bit uncomfortable at night and this was augmented by the fact that the beds on both upstairs bedrooms are a rock solid besides that everything else was great. The pool was wonderful. The amenities areas were cozy and inviting the kitchen was full of everything you’ll need. The house was clean when we got it. The customer is a little bit unresponsive and it takes a while to get a hold of them but overall we had a good experience close to the beach only four blocks away. The property has enough beach, chairs, umbrellas, and carts to hall everything. Without the need to use a car, but if you want to take your car, there is a empty lot just in front of the beach access where everybody parks their car while on the beach the place is great. It could be better if they upgrade the beds."

It is a quiet neighborhood and felt safe in the house. The outdoor area was great for watching a movie with the family at night or hanging out around the pool area. "Spring break 2024 - Came down for my kids spring break from school. The house is great for a family being close to the beach and having a pool. Very close to the grocery. No waiting in traffic for that. Still quite a bit of work going on to get the island back in order following hurricane Ian. We were happy to spend some time and money to help bring the island back to what it was. Will definitely check availability next time we visit FMB."
